Bethenny Frankel was spotted at the Borders Bookstore at the Time Warner Center in New York City yesterday (January 6). She was launching her new book “The Skinnygirl Dish”

Of her new book, Bethenny told press, “Basically I don’t believe in fat free, I really don’t and I think that most ‘diet’ and low fat cookbooks- it tastes like glue and it tastes bad or bland or fake and you end up wanting something else.”

And Ms. Frankel says her book will help readers find a diet they can stick to.  “So, this is the big resolution month and everybody goes to eating their grilled chicken and steamed vegetables and in two weeks, they’re back, and they’re on the wagon because it’s unsustainable.”

The entire book has really flavorful, really decadent recipes. There are pancakes in there. I’ve remade the spinach and artichoke dip, which is that Huston’s dangerous thing that no one wants to touch, but I remade it. It’s just as good and it’s healthy for you. Same thing with guacamole, I have a mock-a-mole. So, I have my little tricks where I create much, much healthier versions of decadent foods.”
